According to nobullying.com, 52% of young people report being cyberbullied and 25% of teenagers report that they have experienced repeated bullying. Are children and youth safe online? This recorded webinar is designed for parents/caregivers, and volunteers/staff who work with children or youth. This webinar will provide an opportunity to gain insight into the rising phenomenon of cyberbullying and the impact bullies can have on our youth within our programs. Victoria Bissell, OCT. and Director of Training at Plan to Protect®, will provide practical tips for responding to and preventing cyberbullying. Participants will discover how they can take preventative measures against bullying within your camp, school, churches, and organization by equipping students, volunteer/staff and parents/guardians to confidently recognize and appropriately respond to bullying.
