Special Interest: Recognizing the Predator

Special Interest: Recognizing the Predator

Regular price $35.00

What does a predator look like? What are the warning signs? The truth is that camps, schools, clubs, and churches can be vulnerable places because they are natural places of trust. However, they often lack the necessary screening for volunteers which provides opportunity for predators to be in contact with the vulnerable. So how can we Plan to Protect®?

This webinar is designed for parents, caregivers and organizations working with the vulnerable sector. Victoria Bissell, the Director of Training at Plan to Protect® and a Teacher/Educator, will provide you with practical tips for creating a safe environment and how you can recognize a predator. We will discuss who we can trust, grooming processes, and how predators target those who are vulnerable. We will also talk about teaching kids about tricky people and safe strangers. Let's raise the bar on protection!
