For employers with at least ONE employee
Ontario’s Accessible Employment Standard requires you to make your employment practices accessible to meet the needs of employees and job applicants with disabilities. If you have at least one employee, you must complete 4 requirements of the Accessible Employment Standard in your workplace by January 1, 2017 in the areas of hiring, workplace information, performance management and accessibility policies.
This includes training all of your volunteers and staff.
